After four individual days of strikes affecting our UK delivery partner (Parcelforce Royal Mail), the unions have announced further strikes for the coming weeks. Nationwide strikes are planned for October 13, 20 and 25. The unions have announced additional strikes in November that are not expected to impact all of Parcelforce Royal Mail, but rather only individual functions particularly during Cyber Week and on Black Friday.

Our contacts at Parcelforce Royal Mail have assured us that they will do everything in their power to ensure that the items we place in their care for delivery will be processed and delivered as smoothly as possible, as on the past four strike days. Parcelforce Royal Mail is also intensively working to find a solution with the social partners and thus prevent the strikes.

In view of the underlying conditions, transit time delays are nonetheless expected on the strike days themselves and during each respective subsequent week.
